Výuka chemie v angličtině

On 12 April we were lucky enough to spend some quality time deepening our chemistry knowledge with a foreign teacher, Vandana. The topic of the lesson was nucleic acids. For about hour and half we were reviewing the differences between DNA and RNA, it’s structure, nitrogenous bases covered in them, bonds etc. We also did some quizzes, had fun solving and answering some tricky questions. Although we had been a little bit afraid of our low English chemical-nomenclature knowledge, it went pretty well and at the end we successfully managed to extract DNA from bananas. This experiment was really interesting and all of us consider this unusual chemistry class as very beneficial.
