V tomto školním roce se talentová soutěž GymtriStar mohla 
vrátit opět ke svému tradičnímu termínu, a to na 31. leden, tedy den, kdy se rozdává pololetní vysvědčení. Letos se odvážní soutěžící a jejich fanoušci sešli v aule už po šesté. Odborná porota hodnotila výkony zpěváků, klavíristů, hudební skupiny, orientální tanečnice, také scénku třídy 1.A a poslala do finále hudební skupinu Plavecký oddíl Vojtěcha Špillera, orientální tanečnici Emu Moderovou a zpěvačku a klavíristku Ludmilu Kisialovou. Ve finále „fazolovým hlasováním“ rozhodli o vítězi diváci. Třetí místo nebylo obsazeno, druhé místo se stejným počtem bodů obsadily Ema Moderová a Ludmila Kisialová. První místo a titul GymtriStar 2023 s velkou převahou bodů získala hudební skupina Plavecký oddíl Vojtěcha Špillera s Timotejem Cieślarem, Adamem Slaninákem, Janem Miškejem, Janem Horáčkem a Michalem Chodurou.

Two Hours of Goosebumps 

On January 31st, there was a talent competition at our school. The idea of this event comes from the talent show called Britain’s Got Talent and it is a very popular show at the moment. 

Eleven contestants attended the competition. We could see many types of performances, for example singing, dancing, playing the piano, etc. The jury then picked three performances that got into the next round. At the end, everyone voted for the performance they liked the most. The winner was pretty clear. 

My favourite part was when my friend Ondra Niedoba jumped on the stage and started rapping. I actually knew the song, so I was singing it in my head too. He performed quite well but he didn’t get into the next round. 

The whole event was amazing, the only issues were technical. Maybe, the only thing that I would add is the audience award. Except that, in my view, it was a great event.
